Musicians
Kristi Edwards - Flute
Kristi has been a musician at Point Reyes since the 1990’s, and plays for several other area churches as well. She plays the flute, and enjoys the spiritual experience of the masses (of Bach) and the requiems (of Brahms and Mozart). Kristi loves doing musical research and coming up with the right pieces to complement the readings of the day. When she’s not playing, she works as a legal assistant in a small probate law firm, volunteers, knits, and watches baseball.
Nancy Lyle Bennett - Piano
Nancy has been serving as the pianist part time at Point Reyes since 2012. She has also served as a substitute musician at several other area churches. She finds the most joy when practicing, rehearsing and performing piano, especially with We Three Trio (including Richard, the Clarinetist). Nancy is a retired correctional counselor, flight attendant, and Feng Shui consultant. When she’s not playing piano, she is a member of the American Society of Dowsers, and an avid ping-pong player.
Richard D. James - C
larinet
Richard has been attending since 2016, and has been a musician for the church since 2017. He plays a Bb/A clarinet, and has been playing since 1948. He currently enjoys playing as part of We Three Trio with Nancy (the pianist), and a cellist. Richard appreciates being a part of a church that values live music and supports its musicians. He’s also a semi-retired engineer/technician, teacher, and tutor. With a keen eye for the technical and creative, he dabbles in sound systems, music appreciation, photography.
